What kind of headphones to hear better in the poor?

I'm almost 95 years of age. In 1983, I was in a car accident and lost most of my audience. I can only listen to 4% in one ear and 15% in the other. I have gone through many headsets and none have really helped me. I live with my daughter and she says I'm just dreaming and nothing is going to restore my hearing. I really wish I would find a good brand? Is it possible that maybe there is a good brand?
