It seems when I hear someone speak of a tragedy in their life that everyone always responds with the same phrase. Is there another?

Some times a person grieving doesn’t need to hear words. Just knowing that you are there and care is enough.
Ppl think they have to say something and end up saying something they wish they hadn’t.
Most of the time the grieving party understands.
They’ve stood in line before.
